Use Koywe from your AI tools

Check your account by chatting with an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT, or automate operations from the terminal. Anything that moves money always waits for your confirmation.

AI prepares, you confirm and Koywe executes.

What it is

You connect your AI assistant to your Koywe account and ask it whatever you need. It looks up the answer in Koywe for you. No coding and no keys: you sign in with your usual user.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that AI assistants use to connect to other apps. It is what lets your assistant talk to Koywe.

What you can ask

Copy an example and paste it into your assistant once it is connected.

Connect your assistant

Three steps, about 2 minutes.

  1. Step 1: Add Koywe to your assistant

    Which assistant do you use?

    1. Open Claude (on claude.ai or the desktop app) and go to Settings → Connectors.

    2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Koywe and paste this address:

      Server address

      https://mcp.koywe.com/mcp

      Your real Koywe account.

    3. Click Connect. A Koywe page will open so you can authorize it (step 2).

The connector also shows up in the mobile app with the same account. Depending on your plan, whoever manages Claude at your company may need to enable it.

  2. Step 2: Authorize the connection in Koywe

Your assistant will open a Koywe page titled Connect an AI assistant. There you:

    • Sign in with your Koywe user.
    • Choose the organization. One per connection.
    • Choose the companies it can see: some (up to 25) or all, including the ones added later.
    • Choose the permissions. Reading information is always included; the rest is optional. Check only what you will use.
    • Click Authorize and go back to your assistant.
  3. Step 3: Test the connection

Ask your assistant something. If it answers with your data, it is connected.

The connection lasts 24 hours. After that, your assistant will ask you to sign in again.

Permissions and security

The assistant uses your Koywe user: it can never do more than you and it only sees what you share when connecting it.

What it can do

  • Read balances, orders, contacts, approvals and webhooks.
  • Show masked account numbers (****4821), unless you give it the View full data permission.

What it never does

  • Prepare payments, conversions or crypto purchases: for now, in production it only reads.
  • Sign, approve, reject or cancel operations.
  • Invite users or change roles.
  • Change webhooks or edit existing accounts.
  • See your API credentials.

Your assistant belongs to your AI provider, not to Koywe: what it reads stays in your chat history, under the agreement you have with that provider. And it can get things wrong when summarizing: when in doubt, check the figures in Koywe.

If something does not work

I cannot find the option to add a connector

Your assistant plan does not include it, or whoever manages it at your company has to enable it. Check your plan or ask that person.

The assistant cannot find the server

Check that the address is complete and ends in /mcp. The safest way is to copy it with the Copy button.

It says the link no longer works or the request expired

Each connection link works once and for 10 minutes, and it has to finish in the same browser where it started. Connect again from your assistant and finish without pausing.

The assistant answers without checking Koywe

Check that the Koywe connector is on in that conversation (it is usually in the chat's tools menu). Naming it also helps: "Look up in Koywe…".

It asks me to connect again

That is expected once a day: the connection lasts 24 hours. It also happens if you disconnected it or authorized more than 10 connections (the oldest one is closed).
